About the Department
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sandip University has a top-level quality assessment rating for teaching and a reputation for research among the Engineering colleges in Nashik. The department was established after the inception of Sandip University with the avowed intent and creating highly qualified engineers and researchers who can make a substantial contribution to the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At present, the department is conducting a UG program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, PG programs (Electrical Power System, and Electric Vehicles), and a Ph.D. program.
About the Faculty Development Programme
In the ever-changing world of software technologies, it is extremely important to keep abreast with current technologies and innovations. This FDP aims to provide a fraternity of intellects with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, technologies, and research developments in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). This program will typically cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Emerging technologies in Electrical Engineering: This may include topics such as control systems, power electronics, and renewable energy
- Recent advancements in Electronics Engineering: This may include topics such as communication systems, IoTs, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and microelectronics
- Innovation in EEE education: This may include outcome-base education (OBE), blended learning approach, and NEP2020 policy
Objectives of Faculty Development Programme
The objectives of the FDP are to
- Enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty members in the latest trends and advancements in electrical and electronics engineering
- Improve the teaching and learning methodologies of faculty members
- Promote research and innovation in electrical and electronics engineering
- Enhance the overall quality of education in EEE
- Promote collaborative research
TARGET PARTICIPANTS (Faculty Development Programme)
The FDP is open to faculty members from AICTE-approved engineering colleges, Polytechnic institutes, candidates working in industrial / research organizations, and research scholars having an electrical and electronics engineering background.
